Babies are simple, pure sweetness. Little bundles of perfection, we can only fall in love with them! As a baby photographer, capturing their deliciousness is one of the best parts of my job!

Here are the cutest baby delights that I love celebrating through my lens:

Their little arms, legs, and squishy rolls. Dazzingly adorable! They only call for kisses and love!

How peacefully they sleep. Something we can count on babies to do is to sleep peacefully. It may not be on our schedule or in the increments most convenient to us, but the peaceful way that babies sleep, often with their little hands up close to their ears, is truly something to melt for.
Their smile (with or without teeth!). Babies smile a lot. As a baby photographer, it is such a delight to see these gummy smiles. I especially love it when babies smile for no apparent reason at all. Nothing compares to the innocent smile of a sweet baby!

Their laugh. Babies laugh so much, so freely and innocently, they can make the heaviest heart happy! It brings me incredible joy to see babies laugh and to capture this delightful aspect of babyhood.

When babies put their feet in their mouths. Babies love to play and one of a baby's favorite "toys" is something they already have - their tiny hands and feet. The literal foot-in-mouth moments are ones parents and photographers alike love to see. Babies are positively fascinated with their own feet. This phase doesn't last long, which makes it extra adorable!

When babies clap their hands. Babies learn most things from their parents and loved ones, and one of these things is how to clap their hands. Clapping is one of the most fun developmental milestones; it seems like a small reward for ... the parents! Clapping is just one way that babies can show that they are active and happy. And it is so charming, to boot! Clapping their hands at the things that tickle them, or that they enjoy, is one of the cutest things about babies!

The many ways that they crawl. Babies, like all children, grow up too fast. Despite all our best efforts, babies can't wait to get moving on their own. Once your baby learns to crawl, there will be no stopping them. Their expression when crawling can range from serious concentration to pure, unadulterated joy, as they successfully master this incredible skill! Sheer delight.

When they start to walk. As incredible as it is to see babies master their first significant achievement in crawling, they keep going and soon begin to walk! Their tiny feet move in uncertain steps. Tumbles forward and their excitement are irresistible to witness!
Last, but not least ... the way they look when they're mad. The unique and dramatic ways that their faces can show disapproval or upset emotions are definitely some of the most adorable things about babies!
