Why should you hire a professional photographer? Editing and retouching (Copy)
Editing is another very important part of a photographer’s work. It speaks for itself: raw files are raw and need to be developed and edited. Photographers master editing software like Lightroom and Photoshop. They take the time to transform each image into a final product that will reflect their vision and art.
All the portraits created in my Manhattan photography studio are manually edited and transformed into a work of art. After your session, the images are carefully reviewed and selected. The best images will receive all my attention and I will take all the time necessary to refine them to perfection. The idea behind each image roots in my work philosophy: capture your family's love and put it at the center of attention.
Example of a baby portrait created during a newborn photo session in my Manhattan studio
The first image is the raw image, straight from the camera, without any editing. The second image is the final version that I considered perfect.
Baby's blemishes were softened, the blanket was smoothed and all other distracting elements were adjusted. As a result, it is all is about baby, how small and perfect, how awake and alert and how proud and in love her daddy was.
